In The Qur'an, we Hear God speaking to our master Abraham and mankind about His House, The House of God.
He asks him to take care of it, to clean it, and above all to preserve its sanctity.
This is referring to the Sanctuary of the Ka'ba but also referring to all the Houses of God and above all, our very own hearts as some scholars explain.
In these blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah, we would like to invite you to a spring cleaning of your Masjid. As we sweep, wipe, dust, and care for Allah's House we can cultivate deep intentions for the cleaning of our own heart.
Join us Saturday June 24, anytime from 11:30am to 4pm at The Rhoda Masjid.
