Special Growing In Love: A Weekly Brunch & Dhikr

For this special Growing in Love edition of Eid al-Adha 2024, we will be holding a short Eid prayer, a storytime to convey a beautiful Eid message, and singing songs together to celebrate. Bring with you a treat to share for the Growing in Love weekly potluck, and your best festive clothes. 

A community gathering in which we break bread together, nurture bonds in a relaxed environment, and recite poetry and songs about the Prophet's life ﷺ. Poetry & songs will be in English, Arabic, and French!

This is a gathering for all human beings, all souls, and for all ages: youth, adults, families, and elders. Welcome to anyone who wants to develop communities around the love of Allah and the messenger of God ﷺ. You may be a new convert who wants to grow in love for the beloved prophet ﷺ alongside brothers and sisters. You may be an adult looking for meaningful ways to learn and root the love of Allah and the prophet ﷺ in your life. Or perhaps you are a family or have children that you pray can grow up loving him ﷺ and know how to celebrate joyfully God and His Gifts.

Brunch Potluck 11 am 

Dhikr, Poetry, & Songs 12 pm 

Dhuhur Prayer 1 pm

The books of seerah tell us that the Prophet ﷺ used to visit Quba every Saturday and spend time with the children and community there. Join us in our own oasis as we similarly bring him ﷺ and his teachings into our lives through loving remembrance.
