À propos de l'événement

A 7-session program for women starting Monday, Jan. 22nd from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm. This program will focus on helping you open up physically emotionally and spiritually to prepare to receive with an open heart and conscious mind, the blessed month of Ramadan.

Yin yoga is the continuous practice of stillness, introspection, opening, and releasing. It is a beautiful and mindful practice that is complementary to the teachings, invitations, and training we know in our spiritual tradition and is a beautiful way to care for the oft-neglected areas of the body such as the connective tissue, ligaments, tendons, and joints, that when tight, due to carrying stress in unproductive ways, can often lead to chronic pain or injury.

In liberating the body from this tension, we can then elevate our spiritual practices, and what better time to do this than right before the sacred nights of Ramadan which are filled with intensive practices such as fasting, Taraweeh, night prayers, long contemplative sitting meditation and prayers and so much more. Rather than powering through these without preparation, we invite you to join this class to learn to live every moment, be it intense or light as deeply and transformatively as it ought to be.

Registration spots are limited, be sure to register and reserve your spot before registration closes. The cost for 7 sessions 1 hour each is 140$ and all materials will be provided.
